Been feeling really down in the dumps lately. Lots going on with the ex, flat upside down with decorating, haven't had any time to myself for ages, my sons been ill for a couple of weeks first with sickness bug and then ear infection.

Soooo... Looks like the sun is gonna shine so even tho I can't bloody afford it I'm gonna use my last few quid to take him to the local wildlife park today. Gotta try and turn this frown upside down!

Sounds great. Is one thing I miss about having young kids, being able to do kid stuff and not look stupid. Love wildlife parks. In summer hols, Im going to Monkey World with my mate and her little girl. I invited myself along lol. cant wait

Rwwwwaaaarrrrrllllll! Love the big cats too.

Hopefully they do keeper talks - they can be great and very informative.

There's an amazing wildlife park near doncaster with all sorts of animals and you can walk in with the lemurs and the wallabys.

And there's one in the cotswolds which has red pandas - they're not really pandas, they look like red headed racoons!

They do a penguin one and ones in the rep house I've held geckos, baby wallaby, snakes etc. and they do an otter one too but I've not seen that x

Used to a 'Johnny Morris' for my boys when they were younger. It just got a bit too adult rather too quickly and I would incur the wrath of their mother soon after....

We have nothing like that round here, the nearest suitable park is a long walk away and my little ones would be knackered beforehand unless I manage to get someone to take us.

Hey lovely fabbers!!

What a lovely sunny day. I've walked and walked and run around the kids play area and been given orders of what to see next 'tortoise mummy' 'lion mummy' lol. We had some lunch in the cafe and then got the bus home and got an ice cream 99 and walked all along the seafront on the way home!!

Unfortunately my knob head ex is popping in to collect something so no doubt he'll ruin it hahaha! X
