I've had a friend of mine try to contact me through a site called BADOO.

It's not one I have heard of, so don't know what sort of site it is, whether it is safe (or not!) etc.

Can someone please advise of its pros and cons?

Any details will be really welcome.

its a 'chat' site. was on it before and met a few guys off it, some genuinely lookin for relationships etc but most wanting sex

I wouldn't get too excited cos the site also gives u extra if you invite friends.. So it goes through peoples contact email addresses and sends out invites if the person ask to upgrade
