Im asking this from a man's point of view, woman might think the same in men's profile?

Sorry if this has been asked before but I see so many female profiles being made in such a small area that I live in, it would be unreal for that many swingers to sign up to this site in a short amount of time. It's okay being a site supporter and having verifications, and photos but it doesn't really prove that is a female/male account . I think that every new account set up male or female should have a photo verification.

......

There is the option for people to be photo verified.. but like most things.. it's a personal choice.

Just set the filter that stops unverified from contacting you? 🤔

Yes, understand what you are saying, but it defeating the object of making sure they are genuine accounts being made regardless of people that can filter them out

Problem is, people can use good Photoshop skills and edit or use AI or DeepFake to create fake verifications easily nowadays. The tech is getting better and better.

It probably wouldn't have the huge impact many think it might. The only surefire way is to use official government ID and link accounts to your biometrics (i.e. prints or retina scan).

Central

When it's been discussed before, a lot have said they'd not join, if they'd have to give ID and the vast majority aren't interested in photo ID.

But, with Fab being so big, we each have tons of choice and options, including how we filter the people who we engage with.

It is buyer beware and with the best will in the world, people will still be scammed, whatever the steps implemented. You've got to develop your own rules and processes. It's almost better that Fab isn't more restrictive xxx keeping our choices broader and staying guarded.

It sounds like you're clued up OP, which will help you a lot!

That's very true. You have to learn how to be careful and not be too desperate enough that you fall for obvious scams. And they are almost always blatantly obvious, if you use the brain in your head, rather than the gentleman sausage.

Most people get caught out because they're not thinking straight and dodgy accounts have been doing this for years. They know the types they can dupe.
