That creates the problem of too many messages to handle and that’s where the majority of delete and no reply comes from. Personally if we receive a message where it is clear our profile has been read and there is effort applied, we will reply even if it’s just to say no thanks. | |||

Absolutely, OP, there's a maximum number of messages I get to send a day, if I replied to every person who sent me a message, I'd have run out. What you don't seem to realise is that when I delete a message there is about a 10% chance of abuse from that person, if I say no thanks, that chance is 75%. | |||
