I learned how to do it after recurring nightmares of nuclear explosions (amongst others), when I was a kid. It felt like a switch got flicked on in my head and I knew I was asleep. I changed the outcome of the dream, continued it on (to even more madness though lol), then never had it or any of the other nightmares again. Since then, I've never had a nightmare. Not a proper terror-inducing one anyhow. But I also no longer fly. Tends to be just obscure things or survival based situations that I overcome. I can also wake myself up instantly, just like snapping your fingers, because it's boring or going in a direction I don't like lol. | |||
