What would you like to be buried in??

Having a reflective few days here as Im on my own..My Mum died 7 years ago this week and whilst planning her funeral I had to choose things for her to be buried in..

My thoughts were she was happiest when dressed UP ! Party stuff going to meet family and enjoying their company. She had a pair of fancy velvet trousers in Maroon and a gold sparkly top..gold strappy sandles and stockings.

So these are what I chose for her. She was 89 when she passed but was always immaculate make up hair done etc. Far more proud than me in fact that rarely wears any makeup.

So driving home tonight I wondered what would I like to be buried in..

A lovely silky purple negligee and nightie perhaps. Stockings and suspenders or hold ups .. A nice basque maybe not too worried about shoes as I rarely wear any but Evies ballet shoes would be soooooooo nice

I think my Ole man would dress me like a frump in sensible clothes.. not me at all . But of course he has never seen the me that you lot see they sexy underwear and sexy pictures so he wouldnt ever know.

What Favourite things would you choose to be buried in ?? what would you like put in with you...

My mum was dressed in something that was apt for her

I haven't thought about it but I know I would leave that up to my daughter to decide.

Im not fussed but I know just know it will help her to do that as it did for me when my mum passed away

Suit, silk shirt and tie. Rock port boots. My family always get boxed up in a English oak coffin with a silk inside

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

Just a plain white shift as I intend being cremated. Then all my clothes, shoes, etc, can be donated to someone else.

Oh, and the cheapest coffin imaginable. Ashes to be thrown into the sea (if that's off a cross-channel ferry that's ok too). I want very very little spent on my funeral. To me there's no point in spending shit loads - how will I appreciate it? The money could go to better use.

To be honest I am not bothered... I will leave instructions to keep it all as cheap as possible, throw me in the fire and have a damn good party to remember all the daft stuff I've done over the years ..

See now that sounded fine until you said Rockports. They were the choice of shoe of all the chavs at my school so I can't find them nice to look at!

I'll be buried in whatever fits as long as my boobs look good. This method is always used when choosing an outfit for a night out!

whether its buried or cremated i told the misses to put me in a card board box, and keep the money for her and the kids . what a waste of money and besides they probably keep the coffin and stick you in a card board box when no 1 is looking any way the sly buggers lol
