Ok I would like to know from you gentlemen of fab, what makes you want an older lady or younger lady.

Ladies is there a limit on age you'd go for?

For myself I've come to the conclusion I've brought my kids up and helped with bringing my grandchildren up so now it's my turn to live my life therefore is not necessarily a barrier if there's a connection.

When I was 51 I spent a wonderful few days with a lovely young man who told me he was 27. That felt like a huge age difference in my guilty head. He wasn’t 27. He was 21. Cue mental meltdown! So altho I wouldn’t go for a 30 year age gap by choice, it was perfectly acceptable for a few days.

I’m now 54 and current FWB is 31 and it works well for what it is.

My current “rule” is, they have to have been born pre y2k!

For me I won't go under 25 and it all depends on the person who's 25 and how they present themself and how we can relate to each other for older women it's a bit of the same how we relate but older women know what they want and more upfront about it and depends really, from I was in my teen I've always find my around older girls and women so it's natural to chill and have a good time.

I used to have this rule that if they were younger than what came out my hoo haa they weren't getting in it ... BUT as time has gone on and my kids have gotten older I've come to the realisation that age doesnt really matter it's all about maturity.

I'm 53 and my FWB is 62. She is comfortable in her own skin and as a result is confident in bed. Not had anyone younger than me so wouldn't know the difference.

I had a 28 year old fb and that was difficult to maintain. Going out together was difficult for him as people assumed I was his mum at 45. So we stopped and dialed it down to just fb. We had a fab few years just dicking around, but what ended it was his desire to settle and build a family. So we mutually split.

It would take a special man indeed, to break my 40's-55's preference now tbh

The club scene is what changed my mind about age differences as like above said you rarely ask anyones age at a club if you have that mutual desire ... I've had rough vigorous fucks from younger men and skilled sensual fucks from older men and vice versa now thanks to letting that go

Real age or fab age?

10 years older or younger for me. Can push it to 15 years but have found 10 years on my filters is about right as it captures those shaving a few years off their real age. And don't generally find I have much in common with guys in their 30's.

Absolutely not interested in anyone in their 20's

I like some kind of mental attraction as much as the physical

I’ve known some really mature 30 year olds and immature 50/60 year olds

I don't look at age, its about the person.

It is true older women tend to be more confident, confident does not mean open minded, but I have noticed that a decade or two of sex has given rise to a border appetite but that is not a rule.

Age doesn't bother me too much but I definitely prefer an older lady, there's a natural sexiness that comes with age... the features of an older woman too I find attractive... grey hairs starting to show, crows feet etc... they are sexy features to have and I hate when women try to hide it thinking they look better covering it up when they just dont, they also know what they want and have no problems expressing it either. Older women tend to be more interesting too... I often just can't be bothered with the mentality of younger girls and pretending to care about whatever drama is kicking off that week or the tiktok that they liked.

All depends on the person really. I lost my virginity to a woman more than 29 years older than me so maybe that has something to do with me being attracted to older women. A couple of years ago a woman in her early 30's at work made it clear she liked me and wanted to take it further. To be honest I couldn't believe she would be into someone my age because she was stunning so I was a bit hesitant. However, she persisted so I went with it and we ended up having a fling for about 4 years until she moved away. I wouldn't have thought about going for someone nearly 30 years younger than me as I wouldn't have thought it would work but she proved that it most definitely can so she certainly opened the door for me. I don't think I'd have the confidence to chase a woman that young but if she made the first move then I'd certainly be open to it.

In my formative years I was particularly driven by looks. Age was of secondary consequence. Nowadays I find the mind more inquisitive and with that whilst age remains the secondary factor. However that said the mind tends to be more aligned to a more mature lady. I'd say 40-50

I find women of various ages attractive for lots of reasons.

I find older women physically the most attractive to me though. Personality wise I think I tend to connect well with people who are more mature in their personality (which is not anything to do with age btw) and who are interested in similar things culturally to me (again not to do with age).

I think I’m just not put off by upper ages and on a site like fab there’s more women older than me than around my age. On dating apps i tend to match with people more around my own age but I also tend to have an upper age limit of 35 because older wine in dating apps explicitly our that they’re not interested in younger men so I don’t bother wasting likes on uninterested people when my likes are limited anyway.

Long story short, depends on the woman; on the face card and the personality.

For me, I tend to stick around the +/- 10 year difference, although there are exceptions, so my lower filter is now set much lower than that.

It all depends on the fun factor, but more importantly the mental maturity.

My last sexual partner was over my maximum but had the outlook and drive way below her years. We had so much in common. It was fantastic, but like all good things, it came to an end. I won't say why, but it wasn't because of the sex. That was a few years ago now and I'm still trying to fill that void...

My preference used to be 30s-40s, but I’m finding that it is a bit 🥱 🥱 🥱 yawnsome as they are creating/bringing up a young family, so really difficult to meet. So I am back seeing guys in their 20s… very yummy experiences indeed.

I usually do not meet men older than I am bar a couple of exceptions, and that is by a few months/couple of years at most.

As others have said, I believe that if there’s a connection and both parties are attracted to each other then I dont believe age matters, I’ve been attracted to older ladies and younger ones, the connection created the spark and then the fun is endless

I tend to prefer ladies my own age up about 20yrs or so. There tends to be more "realness", less bullshit, and less pressure of "you must look or be like this".

One of the great things for me is a sense of humour , especially in the bedroom and that tends to come with maturity.

I know this is a wide sweeping statement and generalisation, but how I find it. If the connection and attraction is there, age really doesn't matter
