I was dumped via text at 1am in the morning with the line

"sorry I don't want to see you any more as I've met someone better. Hope we can still be friends?"

I've not been dumped by a bf it's usually the other way round or a mutual agreement. An FB finished with me a few years back because he got back with his ex who was pregnant with his baby so that understandable. He came round and told me to my face.

When I've ended it with people I've never done it by text or gone for the ignore thing. It's the decent thing to do to at least tell someone to their face.

The silent treatment as you are left wondering what you did wrong or why....i had it happen years ago.

Also by txt my friend got dumped from a year long relationship via txt.

Adults should be able to come out with it in person.

My neighbour across the road (so not quite a neighbour) recently put all of her fella's stuff out on the front garden and sent him a picture. She then hid at her mum's when he came to retrieve it all.

Anything that's not face to face in my opinion, if you want to end a relationship then you should have the balls to do it face to face, the only situation I think that does not apply is if there has been violence and your worried for you safty

My daughter was 'dumped' by her boyfriend via text on xmas day while she was at her grans over 100 miles from home, I thought that was pretty low

Told one of my exes that I was planning on leaving him unless he changed his ways. Kept on at him for a year (in hindsight I know that was way too long but I was young). Even his best friend warned him I would not put up with his shit any longer.

So, when he pulled one of his stunts for the last time I told him and left that very night. He went to the pub and copped off straight away.

My brother had a similar experience. He'd saved up to buy her a really nice necklace for Christmas. She dumped him on MSN on Christmas morning.

A friend of mine found out that he was cheating on her. She confronted him and he blamed her. Apparently she was too sexually demanding (so why was he shagging another girl too?). She threw his microwave at him - the only thing he had brought in to the relationship. It missed and smashed all over the floor - he got the message then.

He hooked up with the girl he had been cheating with and did exactly the same to her 5 years later - with the same excuse! LOL

I have dumped many a man because they were too nice feel bad but I'd only treat them like doormats!

My worst break up was by text and then when I called about getting my stuff, he already had a girl there!

Best ever was laying on a sofa cuddled up and we agreed that we had a lot of fun and really liked each other but there was something not quite right, we still stayed cuddled up for ages lol.

My cousins wife cleaned out the flat while he was at work sent everything down to the docks for shipping.

Took his son and boarded a flight to Panama when he got back only carpet was left behind.
