I'm still going strong, so well into your 40s I say...

Mine's Kinder, so probably the same one I had as a 7 year old!

I haven't bothered since before I was a teenager (I think). If I want chocolate, I'll just go and get some. Not wait a day for a piddly small piece. 😆

Next Door

I still get an advent calendar. My daughter buys it for me as part of my Xmas presents.

This year's one is from Bird and Blend, lots of different flavours of tea.

Definitely no age limit just down to quality you guy now, be that changing it to better chocolate, alcohol, sex toys you name it you can make an advent calendar out of it.

You could even get one for a daily picture to their inbox as an online Calendar which could be a fun thread here.

I need to find a chocolate alternative advent calender, as I keep eating them in one day. My willpower is low regarding noshing them down, when I've got the chocolate craving

This is the first year that I haven't had one. I usually buy my kids (28 & 17), my husband and myself an advent calendar. Last year the prices were £6 each for quite standard calendars and we all ate them in one day. So I told everyone I am stopping buying them. Everyone was totally fine about it.

I don't think I've had one for 40 years.

Aldi have done a cheese one before or maybe Lidl? I think I'll get one of them....

We both have a chocolate 1 this year.
