"I steamed a piece of pork loin about 400grams, once. In the tier below was 4-5 medium sized new potatoes. A put a tiny bit of water in to start the steaming process, fast for a while to achieve sterilisation-ish?. By the time it was cooked, in about 50 mins, I think, I didn't need to add anything, flavour wise, when i'd normally add salt pepper etc. Therefore the only added ingredient was water. Obviously, it didn't have roast effect but then only the outside of meats have the roast effect... Looking back maybe It wasn't totally safe, as the steam may never have been in abundance enough to achieve guaranteed safety. meh." Not going to lie, that sounds absolutely disgusting.
