Meh the title needs work!

Those bits of our bodies we feel self conscious about.

Things others don't actually care about or even notice.

For me there are 3 things.

I have faint visible back scars. Can feel them but not easily seen.

I have a very identifiable and rare type of birthmark on my arm.

And an indent on my head skull from an accident as a child.

Got any like these of your own?

Yep just the one, my feet well two if you count both of them. The rest of me has features that people are fairly vocal about disliking but I don't care about that but if you walked in on me in the shower I'd cover my feet first.

I’ve got some very distinctive scars but I’m not bothered by them.

But sometimes in photos, my face and stomach look fatter than they really are. That irks me!!!

I have a couple of lipomas at the back of my scalp which I'm self conscious about but nobody else knows about it except from LadyBoner and my barber, they're not sexy or anything like that but it's part of me

My muffin top, and the fat bits between my pec and shoulders. Big schoz.

I also have stretch marks on my bum - they don't actually bother me that much, but would remove them if designing the perfect me.

I find this topic really interesting

I have in my eyes an imperfection and have been told by someone they’d rather not have known about it until after we met as if we didn’t work out I would think it was about the said imperfection rather than chemistry

I told them in advance as without telling them I personally wouldn’t feel right

So it’s a really awkward one

I’m not too happy with how hairy I am. Body hair, like. I’m too hairy to do any tidying up or shaving. It’d look daft if I tried. But I’m not, like, full-on gorilla either. I’m not ‘a hairy guy’. So I feel a bit in-between and I’m not sure I like it.

I'm not bothered about my scars, they're surgical and it was all necessary.

I'm self conscious about my fat belly and my saggy boobs.

I'm even more self conscious about the fact my legs (plural now

) don't work so I need help to move them. And I can only do the Sex when I'm on a good pain day and can't do all sorts of things now. No gymnastics.

My most self conscious thing recently is hyper pigmentation on my upper lip that developed 3 summers ago. It's on my face so super obvious. Then there's the stretch marks, varicose veins, ancient harm scars. None of which people ever care about and I don't think about generally.

I'm pretty much hairless. Except for my hair on my head. Nobody has really commented on it, but I'm aware. Also, like one of the previous commenters I have a ridge in my head. Lol

I have a scar on my top lip, on the right near the corner. It's not very visible but it was from a horrific accident. I'm always amazed that people can't see it when I point it out.

I've lost almost 8 stone, my boobs are deflated and my bum is almost non existent!

it took me a long time to accept my imperfections (of which there are many), but once I did, my confidence grew tenfold.

So now it's not so much what they are, I can embrace them and work with them; it's now just the fact they're all getting that little bit older, a little saggier and a little more achy in the morning when I get out of bed!
