local newspaper printed a photo of a beautiful black iron framed bed covered in flower filled plant pots...guess how many flowers in the bed and i guessed 144 and i was the closest so i won the bed....i gave it to my sister and she bought me a new wardrobe for the little ones room.

My mate though is something else, he won a Bright Red Ferrari F430 2 years ago, I mean literally, an actual Road car..not a toy lol!

I've seen those, but no, it wasn't.

He won it from America.

That wasn't the only prize up for grabs, they had a Manhattan Apartment which was the top prize, a Lamborghini and a Ferrari as the top 3 prizes, he scooped the Ferrari.

Next to nothing on the lottery or anything like that, but - if it counts - about 15 years ago me and the ex won £22,000 out of the dear old Woolwich Building Soc cos they didn't put our endowment (covering our mortgage) 'on risk' and if I had walked under the proverbial bus, she would have been left high and dry with a house to pay for!

Pity I didn't find a suitable bus, seeing as how things turned out...

no it was a charity in Liverpool called 'claires house' they did a big Raffle, they sold over 32000 tickets.

I won first prize, a brand new R6 motorcycle.
