Been considering spoiling myself and getting one for a while. Just have a Switch at the moment but don't know what to go for.

Is there a massive difference in terms of exclusives now or does it really matter? Interested in hearing from people that have experienced both the major differences.

Biggest difference is the games available. Depends more on what exclusive titles you want access to.

I was more of a PlayStation guy years ago but what exclusives does Xbox have. Apart from the big ones like Halo and Gears of War obviously

The handful of exclusives on PS5 are much better as a whole. Though they eventually trickle on to PC.

Xox gamepass is above and beyond superior to PlayStation plus. Microsoft acquisition of some of the top game developers and publishers will likely increase their range.

But for the vast majority of games it really doesn't make much difference. Get whichever you can afford through a deal etc.

I've got an Xbox series X and an S, I only play a handful of games and for me I really wanted to replay Gears of war, there's not much different between the consoles having played PS5 I just prefer the overall Xbox experience and controller but see if there's any exclusive games you're desperate to play and then go for which console there own, they're both decent

Steam deck all the way. Apart from that all depends on the games but I tend to sway towards the Xbox

I’ve got a Xbox series x. I prefer the feeling of the Xbox controller over the ps controller. It all depends on what games you want to play. I’m mainly on COD or fifa which you can get on both consoles

Series X - but not because of the console itself but because of Games Pass Ultimate.

£15 a month, thousands of games including the AAA titles, it’s a far far cheaper proposition than PlayStation. If, for whatever reason, you decide to play on PC, the pass also works on PC. Win/win all round.

All I can say is, every game I want to play seems to be a PS5 exclusive and I wish I’d got that now instead of an X series… L

Series X is better. PS5 is more popular. You pays yer money, you makes yer choice.

(Maybe see which one most of your friends have? Helps when playing online.)

Series x for me. I jumped ship as I prefer the controller and games. Plus I've got my pc too and love being able to switch between them and play the same games.

£9 a month if bought from cdkeys

I suppose game pass gives you a ton of games that started on PC too?

Depending on your budget you could get a decent pc that can handle the same quality of game play. But you can play the Xbox library a good chunk of the PlayStation library and a massive pc only lib. I was Xbox for a number of years but now preferring pc. Still plugged in to a 55inch tv and use controller when I want, as well as mouse etc … and a full flight sim rig

PS5 has more exclusive titles but statistically the series x is more powerful in terms of processing power unless you go for the latest PS5 over the first two iterations of consoles of the PS5 which is very expensive compared to the series x. IMO the difference in graphics is not really that noticeable to be fair.

The MS gamepass is a great deal as you get a lot of day one major releases for free including MS flight sim, black ops 6 etc. PS5 cannot compete with that currently. MS are buying out a lot of developers and have the edge there.

PC gaming is the best but more hassle with upgrading the hardware every other year to play the latest big titles. You also need to be PC savvy for PC maintenance to ensure optical performance.

To be fair, both are great consoles and look amazing. It's about weighing up what games you like and exclusives to each console.

Can't wait for GTA6 next year!

I'm kind of leaning to the Xbox X series.

The game pass is tempting

GPU is definitely worth the money, considering what you get for it.

If moneys no issue pc is the best machine you can get, besides that it’s all about exclusives and the Xbox is technically more powerful but no game uses all it has inside that ugly black brick, I would however push Xbox for gameshare like I ain’t had game pass in over 13 months now yet still can access each game pass game that it has to offer with having one my bros accounts logged in which has an active game pass (all to do with which one your console is set as primary 👍)

With the cost of xbox or ps5 I am ps5 and the other costs included, I would buy a pc as the console price is not far away.

Thats my next buy anyway.
