Got a pair nesting in my garden. Lovely watching them come and go!

What wildlife have you got in yours?

Anything is too freakin' scared to reside in my garden. My kitties are murderous little feckers........ They get just about anything that arrives.

Shite Hawks. Horrible bloody things. They are the size of pteradactyls down here. I think its the fish and chip and ice cream diet!

mostly sparrows. lots of blackbirds, racing pigeons, wood pigeons, robins, blue tits, jackdaws, thrush, starlings, sometimes seagulls, crows and woodpeckers and a field mouse in our greenhouse which my hubby feeds.

sometimes a sparrow hawk comes and takes one of the birds if i dont chase it away first.

Watch out when they have young, I had blackbirds nesting in next doors garden. The birds got territorial with my garden and kept flying at me when ever I went out.

Well we did have a toad, until someone mowed the lawn yesterday.

Other then that, too many cats in this neighbourhood to have many birds. Except when my parrot goes outside on his perch, then we get loads of birds around trying to figure out what the feathered thing singing "The Wheels on the Bus" is!!!

Derby/Notts(Long Eaton)

My "blackbird" is a Harris Hawk called Ollie who wags his tail like a dog and will balance without his talons hurting on my bare arm not needing to use a hawking glove

i have a wonderful pair of blackbirds that have come back every year for the last 5 years to my garden, i know this as the male has a very distinctive voice and is an amazing mimic. His vocal tricks include a siren, the noise central locking on a car makes when you use a remote control and various ring tones,as well as his own tunes, i love him and spend far too long each day listening to him! xx
