Hiya fellow fabbers, interested to see if many swingers are jelouse types, ofcourse jelousy is natural and at some stage or another we get the green eyed monster, just recently a few friends of mine split because of it, also do you think jelousy would be less of an issue in a couple that met swinging rather than starting to swing whilst in a relationship

I think the green eyed monster has no place within a swinging lifestyle.....

If there was even a hint of jealousy then it would be time to stop.

There's no place for jealousy in swinging!!! If you have jealousy tenderises then you shouldn't be doing it!!

No green eyed monsters here

It happens ive had experience of some jealousy with in couples and felt awkward.

I don't think it has a place in relationships that don't swing and even less in the ones that do.

Just got to be comfy with yourself and what you are doing.

Brighton - even Hove!

I'm not a jealous guy. If I had a longterm fb, I'd expect, enjoy and encourage her to have sex with other men.

Jealousy does exist among swingers, usually between people who haven't discussed it properly, aren't ready or where one partner is unwilling. It isn't a nice quality in any relationship and indicates deeper issues that need addressing.

We don't have any jealousy within our relationship, it's nice to see your partner enjoying themselves.

We have hard and fast rules that prevent any jealousy creeping in

So jealousy kicks in the moment one of you crosses a boundary?

Isn't that the same for every one with 'jealous tendencies' whether swingers or not?

It's so much more common than these types of threads ever portray. Very few people would ever admit to being jealous, especially on here!

"There is more jealousy amongst the singles!! "

Agreed, and to a degree I have also seen it expressed by couples against singles when they have played a few times, almost as if you are theirs now they have you, and should not go elsewhere.

See a lot less of this couple to couple though.

As the saying goes, honesty is the best policy, and that's defiantly true in swinging! Honesty is a major part of trust and without trust, to put it simply, you have a problem.

I will admit to being envious of a few peoples houses / cars / or just plain great lives, though!

Actually had this discussion with a fellow fabster who had met their other 1/2 on fab and you need rules and boundaries. I recently met someone on here do I want to share him, not at the moment as he's all mine

That's very common and I've seen it many times and experienced it as once you've slept with them they think they own you lol

Derby/Notts(Long Eaton)

I am jealous or should i say envious of swinging couples who live together and have a positive and relaxed attitude to the lifestyle and both equally mix and make friends.....my Gfriend with benefits and I are forced to live apart some 150 miles and share what time we can together and playing....but we actively encourage each other to play with others and talk to each other all the time openly without jealousy.

We have both seen it with other couples where the couple have secret lives away from their partner which eventually becomes their downfall

I used to love the jealous feelings I would get with my ex... The wanting to reclaim him... Didn't cause any bother, but sometimes there is positive jealousy.

I find there is jealousy amongst many singles on here. When I was part of a couple I never noticed it... Yet now I do...

It's often the case when you've just started a regular thing with someone that one gets a bit more attached than the other. In my case she didn't want me playing with anyone else which is tough titty. Rather than open her mouth n tell me. She fucked up any chance I had with another girl. Whom I actually really liked. So really can mess things up in the beginning stages.

Also wrecks friendships.

No. Because we don't break the rules. Simples.

All about respect, understanding and communication

Ive heard alot about rules and boundries, i wouldnt know as ive never swang as part of a couple, but surly jelousy hits everyone and even has a place in a healthy relationship? Although this could just be narrow mindedness as ive only ever experianced vinilla relationships

Of course jealousy occurs on here!! Its how its handled that matters though. Some do split up on here after they start swinging, but would think that its not just down to the swinging lifestyle but other factors as well.

A lot of singles (of both sexes) do think once you meet them they own you and feelings can become intense during sex and afterwards.

Its how you view this lifestyle that determines your experiences on here and how you set boundries before and after meets, communication and honesty is key to any longterm meets and experiences.
