I'd a FTO then traded up for a GTO with full factory upgrades or almost, and I never got a sniff , changed up to a 4X4 for the dogs (Newfie and Dogue) and got far more attention, reckon it was the dogs over the jeep in all fairness

Fast is one thing but modifications is another.

In my early 20s I used to go to a lot of car meets with an ex. The better cars were the ones with good mods and decent sound systems.

At heart though I'm a biker.

Depends on the car and type of place you go.

I don’t think it’s really if a car is fast I think it’s more if the brand is seen as luxuremfor those that find cars attractive or inductive to sex.

Reality is expensive cars (70k onwards ) it’s just more likely you are seen as maybe worth using for getting benefits / holidays / presents / gifts etc by those that bee line for this .

Normal people probably don’t really care .. especially on a site like this as it’s unlikely you will knuw what car someone has at a club / hotel meet

I think there's a range of reasons why not, including but not limited to some thoughts below.

As others have said, if women want a fast or luxurious car, they can get the car themselves today without having to accept the bepenised dickhead that cars used to come with as part of the deal.

Then there's male car culture.

It's still either too Clarkson; old, wank, and unreconstructed global warming gammon vibe.

Or the eco-electric-vibe is too Musk. Hatstand Trump-crazy.

So I'd suspect that a lot of women who are into cars have too much "nous" to get drawn into all the male baggage surrounding the things; psychological, cultural, and economic.

I have a few fast cars and bikes .I do plenty of track days.

I very much doubt it makes me more attractive to the opposite sex.

Certainly doesnt get me out of junctions all the time and I get more road rage from drivers than admiration.

Hence I don't think id find anyone attractive just for a car. Mat show they have good taste though and a common interest to talk about.

Take yesterday.

Car middle lane of a deserted motorway. 55 at best. Some form of small Hyundai. No clue what. Could have been petrol or EV.

I pulled from inside lane to third and overtook. Got the finger and headlamp flash. Classy.
