I’m not expecting huge amounts of traction on this. I just wonder if any other BIG guys get any joy on here?

Most women I come across prefer gym fit men or men that “look after themselves”

I am a larger guy but I don’t see this as the reason why not many seem to be falling over themselves to meet me. My wife plays too (separately as is her choice and she isn’t on here). She got loads of messages and now sees 4 or 5 fairly regularly. They are of varying builds-one is gym fit, two are average build and 2 are chunkier than me. She only has one stipulation-much older than she is. The main problem is the amount of single guys on here against the very limited pool of women.

I realise that I could boost my chances going to clubs but that is not with any expectation-as it must be.I would find a club very daunting and intimidating as a single guy. I don’t wish to meet men as I am heterosexual-nothing on this earth will change that. The only time I would want to see another guy is with my wife-I would not take part-only watch. The other big obstacle is my ability to accommodate-many probably assume that I am playing behind my wife’s back. Even if we played as a couple, we still have children at home so it would be no different. In conclusion, it is my inability to accommodate rather than my appearance which hampers an already very slim chance.

My husband is what I would call beefy, not gym fit. He's been called a bear before too. Go check out our veris and I'll let you decide for yourself if he is popular......

I personally love big beefy man, I'm a tall woman with broard shoulders and have always appreciated a more rotund man to make me feel small and ladylike x

There is a difference however between a nice stocky man and a seriously overweight man, the latter does not excite me.

I totally agree. The fora is but a microcosm of the Fab ecosystem. Certainly in London and the South-East most of the profiles I come across ask/demand/insist on torsos that are anything but large/big.
