Out of all the big supermarkets near me Morrisons seems to have the most expensive meat. There range or choice does not seem as good either.

Shopped at Aldi once but never again. Bought fresh meat and veg and threw most of it away as the quality was shocking which defeats the object of buying cheap.

Morrisons steaks are tough and disgusting. Find Lidl meat good but veg really goes off quick

I know someone who works within this sector that sources Aldi’s meat and it’s been rated as being a far better quality than most competitors. Maybe you got unlucky, I do tend to cherry pick my steak by its marbling of the fat. Will also depend on what is your preference in cut and the way you like it cooked - how you cook it, ratio.

Up here there's Cranston's it's pricey but best I've had. 1.6kg steak mince for 16.50 but it's crimson red and no fat so much better than the supermarket stuff, just do smaller portions

It's going downhill as a retailer and has been for a few years, with prices that are often considerably higher than others. . They all know that we are creatures of habit and don't do enough to retain us. I shop selectively there a fair bit but check prices. Their cafe has also got too expensive

I noticed Aldi have reduced the 750g lean mince to 600g and haven’t lowered the price. It’s a bit annoying considering I meal prep and need to try and keep my protein high.
