When was the last time you sent an actual postcard to an actual person to tell them how your actual holiday was going?

At some point in the early 2000s to my little pen pal in America. I think that’s the first and only time I’ve sent one. I wasn’t on holiday though..

I took one of those sorry we missed you postcards from Royal Mail and asked them to redeliver to Benidorm.

They didn’t.

Might as well call themselves Royal Let’s Be Unreasonable to Glow.

Was so long ago I was home before it was delivered. Now people just upload photos of their food and drink and portray a life that's far removed from reality.

Not of an actual holiday but one of my brothers lives in the far east and I sent him a post card of our town earlier this year and in the summer one of my friends in the same country was 'treated' to a vintage advert post card. God knows what they made of it

I think it took about ten days. As opposed to the three months it took when they sent me some gifts. 😯
