What’s that one Christmas tradition that you always do and hope will continue.

Mine is new PJs on Christmas Eve, takeaway for dinner and at midnight, hot chocolate or Irish coffee with gingerbread from the house the kids have decorated

By dinner, I presume you mean evening meal...after your Christmas dinner.

For me. Moan about getting Y fronts off aunties and uncles. But seeing as though they are all dying, I won't worry for too long.

I have loads with my kids & friends and also a few new fab ones with people here. I think traditions are so important & never really had them as a kid 😭😭

The one I hope we always do Is Christmas breakfast in our slobs, pots of coffee, bacon sandwiches, Christmas hits playing, opening a couple of present's together and just slobbing for a couple of hours. Sometimes it’s Xmas eve or day before depending on where we all are on the day.

Covent Garden

Bucks fizz, first thing in the morning in between sips of piping hot. 'Christmas Blend' ground coffee for my Cafetière; probably croissants or something cinnamon warmed up but not too heavy so that I still have an appetite for the festive luncheon.

Xmas eve we all have new pjs, watch movies all day and then takeaway at night. Xmas morning we have pop tarts for breakfast, then present time before I (L) go and start cooking. Boxing Day is usually party food/picky bits

This is a year for changes for me

This year I'm picking and choosing between old and new. An evolution sso to speak

So my answer is I'm no longer sure...other than the Christmas blend of coffee first thing, I'm pretty sure that's going to stay 😁

My other half and I always go for few drinks in the afternoon on Christmas eve. Then come home & have cheese & crackers, whilst watching a good film.

I always buy the kids new pj's for Christmas eve, my kids are 17 and 28!

Each year we get together with my hubby's best friend and his daughter (19). We alternate which house we all congregate at and we help put up and decorate the Christmas tree, and the kids build & decorate a gingerbread house, and we all have a takeaway and watch a movie. We exchange gifts as it's the last time we see each other before festivities begin.

This year I have bought the kids a gingerbread truck to construct and decorate along with a cute gingerbread tree to go in the back of the truck. The kids want this tradition to continue forever. It's really fun, especially with the now adult humour and swearing when the gingerbread house collapses, or when my son decorates his half of the roof with a cock & balls 🤣🤣

Christmas Eve, up early, last minute pick up of any forgotten items and drop off presents/baked goods to family friends/relatives nearby. Seasonal coffee and cake, takeaway, watch Krampus/Gremlins and make some extra paperchains whilst the fiancé last minute wraps his presents. Prep veg for the morning. Call a close friend in Wisconsin.

Normally a takeaway or nibbly bits from M and S.
