"How do you feel about Christmas starting after Halloween, if not before, and do you feel it overshadows having a birthday in the last two months of the year?" November birthday (it's passed) anything Christmas related doesn't start till December in my house, October is for Halloween and November is for fireworks night. I have family and friends with December and early January birthdays and I always make the effort to make there birthdays special and nothing xmas related. | |||

My birthday is next week and I refuse to have anything to do with Christmas until it's over. As you say, Halloween in October, Bonfire Night in November, and I would add Remembrance Day, then Christmas. The build up starts earlier and earlier. I fear the event itself can never live up to the hype. Advent starts on 1st December. | |||
