Electric blankets help marvellously with that, and create a cosy feel without another person present. Bonus is, if you do then find a snuggle buddy, you can curl up together in your heated space. There are plenty of occasions when all I want is a cuddle, plenty of occasions when all my wife wants is a cuddle. Oftentimes, these synchronize quite nicely. Other times one of other of us will make the effort to move it to something else sometimes with, sometimes without, success. My ex wife used to make comments like this and made it clear that all it ever was going to be was a cuddle - except 9ncea week or so when she redirected to be serviced. This led me to give up attempting to initiate sex and rventually I began deliberately ignoring her attempts. When you've been tutted at, huffed at, had hands slapped away, kisses ducked all week then, when she decides she's horny, you're suddenly expected to give what she wants like some kind of performing monkey, any advances become a major turn off. On the other hand, when you feel secure, loved, wanted and content, simply cuddling is easy and natural, it is a part of your shared intimacy, not a dangled carrot of "I'll allow this level of intimacy because I'm happy with it but no more because this relationship is all about me getting exactly what I want and that doesn't include wanting you" Please don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this is you, but it is what lots of men have been conditioned to expect. They're taught that intimacy is only allowed when sex is on the cards so it's hardly surprising that they see intimacy as a prelude to sex. When intimacy is part and parcel of everyday life, it stops being a signal for sex. P | |||
