"Have a nap in the afternoon, drink lots of coffee." I like this advice, my plan was to stay up tonight and pass out around 12pm.

"Do not attempt to go to sleep late. Bank up tonight's hours. 1-2 hour nap tomorrow. Eat smaller meals but more regularly. Caffeine is your friend. Carbs around 4/5am used to perk me up Oh and drink plenty of water " Should of added this is a ware house job, 2 30 minute breaks. So I hope I can use those whenever.

"I used to work nights and would try to win by staying up late the night before and sleeping in that day. But I used to just wake up at the same time and was then even more tired for my shift! I say sleep normally until you get to it, then smash the coffee like there’ll be none left until about 4am, then stop so you can sleep that day. And I used to swear by nytol tablets - they kept me asleep for six hours when I was only getting three without. And try to find silly games you can get away with playing to make the time go quick and keep you awake." I wish I could down coffee, but unlike the last warehouse this time it us literally only water. If it helps its 10am to 10pm.

"First night, don't sleep before it. You will be so tired the next day that sleep will be easier. Similarly, don't go to bed when you finish your last shift - push through and go to sleep as close to normal as you can manage. Again you will have less problems sleeping. Also your body clock will reset without jet lag. Worked for me for years. " Don't sleep beofee the first night? OK so it's 10pm till 10am, should I sleep like normal tonight?

"I do regular nights op On my first one, I get up as normal, then have a warm bath and snooze in the later afternoon for a little bit. I drink lots of coffee This time of year is the best nights as you can go to bed when it's cold and miserable. On the day you finish your nights, only sleep for a few hours and get up about lunch, then you'll sleep that night. You'll find what works for you op, earplugs can also be a good idea for sleep in the day, depending on if your street is noisy. Good luck. " Hey Thank-you aswell, I guess my my main concern is when to sleep tonight. Then I'll have to figure out what to do tomorrow, since I start at 10pm.
