Does the removal of the subject line on messages affect anyone?

As someone who actually reads profiles (I find them very interesting) many times there is a hidden word that one had to put in the subject line to show one had actually read the profile.

It probably did men a favour as most used it to try to be either witty or filthy. Code words mean nothing, it just means they have the capacity to skim read and find it.

Just put the hidden word first before you type the message.

I thought it would be a bad move but I was wrong. It seems to work well for me so I am happy.

Whatever word the person has chosen.

A lot of people ask for a special word to be included in the message title as proof you've read their profile.

It gives men a better chance of having a message read.

I find that I'm now more amenable to opening messages from women since they removed the subject line.

I remember the drama when the change first happened.

Threats of people leaving if it wasn't changed back.

They're still here. 🤷‍♂️

Yes agreed I have something to that effect.

I prefer it without the subject line.

I also read through every profile too. I NEVER put the hidden word in the message.

"If you've read this profile, type 'unicorn' in the message." No.

As soon as you start jumping through hoops like that, she knows that you'll submit - that's not me, and it's not hot either.

If a lady likes my uncommon, well-crafted message, then she will need to grant me various exemptions. If not, that's absolutely cool. I'll leave her in peace to enjoy her quality messages from other guys. 🙂

🙂
