How do you like your shower water? So hot it will sting or just normal hot? 🤣

If you shower with someone of the opposite sex often, do you find common ground in setting the right for both water temperature or are the temperature tolerances between you two so different that you’re constantly adjusting the temperature?

I like mine hot so that the bathroom fills with steam, I think I have set to 46° in winter and about 32 in summer. If I’m showering with someone of the opposite sex, I will always add some cold

I like it hot but not burning my skin off hot.

Although finding that sweet spot in someone else's shower - especially hotels - can be a nightmare. Many a hotel in central and eastern Europe has given me the option of either scalding hot or ice freezing cold with nothing in-between!

I prefer it tepid-to-warm, so that it's not too offensive on my sensitive skin. If the weather is chilly then I prefer it slightly warmer, or ½° warmer than the surface temperature of my delicate skin.

I like it piping hot, so I'm bright red when I step out of it. My own shower doesn't get hot enough to be really satisfying, so I make the most of it whenever I have a hotel room and spend a good chunk of time poaching myself in there.

It's always too hot if I attempt to share a shower with someone, so I end up turning it lukewarm and mentally cursing the person in there with me.

One of many reasons I prefer to shower alone.

When I step foot in the shower it's on eco 40 degrees, but about fifteen times every shower some water will flock off me onto the overly sensitive controls and change it to hotter than the sun or so cold you could keep your frozen peas in there, most of the time I'm in the shower it's me shouting "for fucks sake, Jesus, ow, stop it" at the shower
