Sometimes I do yeah. There are times where I need to recharge and best way to do this is by being in my own company.

Yes. I quite enjoy solitude.

Although lockdown made me realise that I like the choice to be able to chat to folk

I definitely need my own time in my own space regularly, although I'm getting more than I need at the moment.

Yes, but that’s normally a warning sign that you really should talk to someone

More often than not. I find the company of other people exhausting, and solitude is how I recharge and centre myself. Ailsa has always understood, other people not so much.

Yeah Mr Picklenic. I get sick of people. Generally I don't talk in the mornings at all. I hate mornings.

I have ADHD, so occasionally I burn out and keep to myself for a little while. Everyone I know is aware and let me get on with it. 😊

A dazzling place you never knew

Sometimes.

It feels like sensory overload and I need peace and quiet to recharge.

The best if when you can be silent in the company of another person, and it's not awkward or weird to have silence amongst you. Comfortable silence but not lonely.

And people who smile in the morning. Love, don't smile, don't talk to me. Don't even look at me. It's the morning for fucks sake. Look down and carry on with whatever you're doing.

Often but always feel like I have to hold back where my over-active imagination wants to go. I tire very quickly of small talk and chit chat.

I can't stand it. It's almost as bad as the "a real man" bullshit.

This is no lie, the only time I say words out loud to human people is to say the word thanks and I say it 7 to 8 times a month. I don't talk with any humans

"

To add, I've said more words on a telegram video to a forumite who is the kindest person, more words to her than I've said in 3 years

It's why I live alone, so that I'm in control and don't have to have others around, unless I want to.

Carlisle usually

Yes.

I enjoy peace and time to myself and not having to communicate with others now and again.

Though if I feel myself hitting the kind of headspace where it may be days rather than hours before I want to deal with people I do try to send a quick heads up to the people I talk to the most so they don't panic about me 💜

I’ve had that, and hurt people who didn’t know what was going on. I want to apologise to them
