Actual friend friends I can count on the fingers of one hand, and that’s just the way I like it. Better to have a small number that you know you can count on that a plethora of faux friends who seem to disappear at the first sign of being needed.

Friendship obviously has to be reciprocated and I like to think I have been there for mine when needed.

As in genuine friends, 4 or 5 that I see regularly, speak to regularly, meet up with regularly that I would consider a genuine friend.

Everyone else is either an acquaintance, or someone I only know due to us both partaking in a specific activity, or someone who I'll know in passing but not actively seek out to speak to/hang out with.

Apparently I'm likeable and have no problem making friendly connections in various situations but none that I feel I could on if I needed someone to talk to.

I lost most of my long term friends through a family dispute. Another load during the divorce. Most of my family have passed away and now it's me and a couple friends.

real long term friends from childhood around 20 we still all meet up in brum often

friends since i moved to somerset id say quite a few same with work friends but then that could be because im boss

swinging friends loads a book ful of numbers and friends as in people we still meet and see often private or clubs and not just in the uk have good friends in Netherlands and Germany usa and canada again real friends we really know and have met and continue to still meet

i dont do this online friendship stuff as i dont see it as real ..friendly yes
