I gladly wear them when I'm going out somewhere that I don't need to walk miles because parking or pavements are crap.

I flew here with 60 pairs of heels I'm down to about 12.

Went out to Glasgow once and we walked 4 blocks because he didn't want to pay for parking or taxi..needless to say I took a taxi and my heels back to my newly reserved hotel solo

If I'm going somewhere fancy, and they’ll enhance my outfit, then yes to heels. Otherwise i’d rather wear comfy shoes.

Long socks are for days where it's not quite cold enough for tights.

You do get used to it. I find chunkier heels are better for longer distances.

A few times in the summer I walked over 3 miles in a pair of platform Mary Janes with a chunky 3.5" heel. The actual walking was fine, but the shoes were a size too small and the chaffing caused these walks to take 2+ hours lol

Bringing the thread back on track... if she's not wearing Manolo Blahnik™ heels in the bedroom then all bets are off. If she can bring an inferior pair of Christian Louboutin™ heels to the date then I may consider it.

For Daizy, Clarks™ is fine. ❤️

Hell

I lived in heels growing up, but the new trend seems to be more comfortable shoes 👠

I’m rapidly approaching middle age and more than ok with a comfortable shoe 🤣

I used to wear heels all the time. Even when I was pregnant. Then I hit 30 and lost reasons to. Now I love them but they hurt way more than they used to

First time I’ve had Louboutins described as inferior. As the owner of 27 pairs and not a single pair of Manolo, (ugly shoes BTW….) I guess your bedroom isn't for me

I’ll have to find someone who appreciates them

Yea I do, but when out in the day, the heels tend to be a bit lower… more appropriate… and definately more comfortable! … but never wear flatties …. Unless the ballet pumps come out at the end of a night out! … when the feet can take no more!!
