"Not really sure what the complaint is. Why would a bi woman be automatically interested in a bi man? Just because they're both bisexuals? They're not really that similar. It's a bit annoying when people assume you should be happy to meet anyone with a presumed similarity of interests. I wouldn't assume anyone interested in TVs would necessarily be happy to meet me, and I'm not necessarily interested in gay or bi men just because they're gay or bi. Its about compatibility, and being in broadly the same sexual orientation category as someone else is not enough on its own to determine compatibility." I can relate to this in quite an obscure way perhaps. I find it really hard to discount anyone without exploring aspects most people wouldn't even consider in the first place, when thinking about sexual attraction. Most interactions feel like the cart is being put before the horse for me. It used to frustrated me, I tend to just accept it now. If I shut out everyone who doesn't get demisexuality I'd probably be better off choosing celibacy. I think the complaint is perhaps more about the stigma and prejudices around bisexual men?

"There's a common perception that bi men are the highest risk of sti transmission to women. Not unfounded, given that many are closet cases who don't want to risk the wife finding the condom packet, or the common 'breeding' kink without the risk of actual pregnancy, or simply that many are more concerned about not getting someone pregnant than they are about their and their significant others sexual health. (Just because someone is from a higher risk demographic does not mean that they automatically actually engage in particularly unsafe practices. I'm just writing down a commonly cited reason that many stick to.) There's the common tropes of masculine vs feminine. Many people like their men traditionally manly. Getting fucked in the arse by another man can really kill that big manly man feeling, and thus the attraction for people who want that masculinity and who perceive it as faggotry rather than just someone having sex with someone else they're attracted to. And sometimes, it's just to cut down on the amount of offers or provide a convenient excuse to exit a conversation with someone they're not attracted to, when they actually don't give a shit." I’ve heard all of these from my bi female friends. I don’t get it either OP 😂

"Not shaming anyone here or expressing bitterness here, absolute respect for anyone's preferences, kinks and choices and it doesn't stop me from getting laid. I'm just curious to see bi women saying "no bi men" and wonder why that is? Seems especially odd when I've had messages from "straight male" profiles who confess they're bi but don't want to put women off! Ironically, as I have zero interest in closet cases I'm possibly a bi man who's better at avoiding many bi men than the women who don't want bi men! Discuss... ![]() Just a though son, perhaps that's just their preference? Which is none of your goddam business. But of course you're not shaming or expressing bitterness. Because you absolutely respect their preferences.
