What was the last thing you missed?

My wife.

Well it was more a vicarious thing. We were celebrating my daughter's success in overcoming some obstacles and getting an offer for the university she wants.

Then it hit me, as it usually does that she will never be able to share that with her mum. It's been years and I still can't begin to imagine how that feels for her.

My old FWB - I miss her. Although we did chat today.

The last thing I missed was Sunday dinner.

Don't!

I was genuinely upset by hearing that news

We only met in person once, but years and years of bumbling about on here - jeez that lady had some effect on me

I pretty much came back here just to pay my respects in the RIP thread

One of my close friends who I've lost contact with, and my cat who died in September.

Hearing child 2 belly laugh. He's in "sullen teenager" mode right now.

So many times I've wanted to chat to her then realised I can't.

My old man. Six years and it’s still difficult.

I missed teaching a session today, I was unwell. I did tell the students though 😂
