Nope - I lived in South Africa, where we'd recently elected our first black president (Nellie baby), and I'd recently moved in with my girlfriend. Life was our lottery...

I was 21. Me and my bestie/flatmate went to the local shop to buy one. It actually felt like a "coming of age" moment.

So that makes you 124 now and can't remember buying a ticket when you were a mere 94?

I’m less popular than Raven and not just because I don’t have a vagina. It’s because of jealousy babe.

Wirral

I was 20 years old. I was at uni, and me and my housemate bought tickets. We watched the first draw before going out on the Saturday night and took it all very seriously because if we won it would have a huge impact, not all of which would be positive.

Then after a week or two the novelty wore off and we realised we weren't going to win and got on with our lives.

I was 29 and bought a ticket.

I think it was £1 back then and my girls had been at a dance comp all day so we got McDonald's on the way home and watched it while we ate.

I still haven't won.
