Not exclusive to your feelings on sexy time. But does your get up and go suddenly get up and leave?

What do you do to resolve it?

.

Let it rest for a little bit. Celebrate the fact my libido is taking a rare break.

I think if it went on a longer strike I'd be a bit sad but as it is, I lean in to it and do other nice things. It comes back soon enough.

Obviously this is not advice (it'd be pretty crap if it was) more what I do.

OP, my mojo/libido sometimes takes a nosedive faster than a Peregrine Falcon in full swoop. I have no explanation for it but lack of sleep and anxiety is a contributing factor (for me), in addition to the general drop in my 'endocrine levels' every now and then.

However, I also find that the more I am desired or held or ensconced in tactility it keep the mojo embers glowing and flourishing.

This has probably made no sense or been any help whatsoever, but it's my anecdotal contribution. 🩶

My mojo can take a sudden dive especially when the couple I met have been drinking for courage & she falls asleep or just lays there like a blow up doll

My sex drive doesnt often dip - I think my libido is relatively resilient.

What does ebb and flow is my willingness to go to the trouble of meeting people and all the effort involved with that. Sometimes it feels overwhelming and I can't find the energy for it.

When that happens I try to treat myself kindly. Wank more, because I do have needs, but not put any pressure on myself that I *should* be making plans and *should* be putting myself out there.

At some point things change, it all starts sounding like fun again and I start meeting people once more. I accept that I can't force myself to have a good time when I'm feeling low though.

I'm not sure it's ever lost, but it occasionally hides itself in ways that can appear almost lost.

I tend to retreat into a well-constructed cave, allow everything to wash over me, survive, gather energy, find my mojo, say thank you to my cave.

And leap out again.

I don't think it needs resolving as such, you just sit it out until you're feeling it again. I had 7 months of celibacy and to be honest I didn't get horny so sometimes it's a case of absence doesn't make the urge grow harder and it takes an experience to relight that fire again. Whatever it is just don't overthink it and only do it when you want too, nobody needs it really.

Hi OP, yes it happens to a lot of people. That general meh feeling.

In Victorian slang they called it ‘got the morbs’ which I love.

A change is good as a rest. If there’s an area of your life that you think you could improve try making small changes towards improving it. In time your mojo and sexy mojo will come back

My Mojo comes and goes all the time.

I don't panic and frantically try to look for it. It'll return in it's own time.

Take a break, have a change of scenery and keep on smiling

I rarely lose my mojo, was starting to think I would always run on overdrive. However I am finding myself in a slump right now, it seems to have walked out on me with the guy I was seeing.

I'm sure hubby will help it come back but until then I'm just enjoying the peace and being able to focus on other things for a while!

Occasionally it does, sometimes for months! Always in response to life stress.

I don't worry about it, as I know it'll come back when the external stressors have become maneagable.

I've had this recently, and suffered a proper lull, I've started to rectify it by giving myself a bit more of a routine of getting up and going for walks a few times a day and cooking for myself more again instead of getting a crap takeaway and honestly it's been such a boost!

In the past I've got up and left. Kinda ended up in the last chance saloon now so it's either fix up or fuck off for me atm.

Not the North West...

I think mine has emigrated.

I don't do anything to get it back. It's either there or it isn't. Simple really.

Sometimes you need to let your body just rest. Hoepfully you will feel re-energised and the libido will come back. I have occasions where my libido won't be active for weeks. Usually when I'm preparing for stuff like marathons etc as I am more preoccupied with that.

Fatigue and having things on my mind is usually what causes my mojo to go.

Currently having a bout of it now.
