Have just installed a soundblaster audigy card in my PC and jesus the sound is bloody amazing !!!!

I love it ! Its like listening to new music all over again

Good ain't they...

My main pc is used for recording and I have a 16-track desk hooked up to mine and a pair of powered monitors. The sound is immense and crystal clear...

Yeh was in two minds as HD onboard audio is pretty dam good anyway but wow have to say im impressed !!

The Audigy chip employs far better technology than most stand alone Hi-fi units, grab yourself some good speakers (5.1 min) and rock till you drop.

I have a Technics Class H+ Amp 100w x 2 and a pair of Wharfedale diamond 8.3's so got a nice set up although i am looking at going to 5.1 lol.

Just listening to Passenger and can hear everything absolutely crystal !!!

Am a very happy man lol

It also depends heavily on what you're listening to. A lot of modern recordings are over produced and overly compressed. I always use Van Halen's first album(1978) or The Who-Live At Leeds to judge how good a sound system is...

Yeh agree with you there, I tend to go for acoustic stuff or older recordings to really benchmark, so nice having a good system as i love my music
