5 7 isn't short. I'm shorter than that and yes it does exclude some people who are looking for taller men (quite a lot to be fair) but nothing you can do about it,but there's lots of characteristics people don't go for, it's just horses for courses. At least you will know if someone likes you it's for you not just because they have a fetish for people who are tall. I personally don't care about height and have dated women who are 6ft +. Just depends on the person

Evidently it's a common preference for most of the profiles I come across where the woman has unequivocally stated a (minimum) height preference, which often far exceeds my height. I have no issues with that and respect their preferences, and simply bypass their profiles.
