Are you more of a new style house lover with nothing to do or an old style house lover with continual jobs

Character or practicality

Depends. In my current financial situation, practicality all the way. In a dream world where I’m not paying vet bills and van repair bills every two minutes, character all the way.

La la land

I prefer an old house, I've had both kinds and both needed maintenance of some sorts.

Old house with modern features.

And no ghosts.

I have just finished my 1700s cottage. All updated but retained the character parts such as fire places

Am now moving for work and tryin to find a way to keep it as would be too far to commute

Victorian terraced are my favourite, features but can easily be modernised

Old. Love all the original features. Tiles by the front door and fire place. Stained glass windows. Brass and bakerlite door knows.

New all the way, I've got better things to do with my free time, than continually doing jobs on a house
