I love it when its used in the right context

I can't help it , however with words its sometimes hard to tell if someone is being an arse or genuinely one of the nicest sarcastic people you could know

If I do make a snippy comment I usually always end it with a little wee winky man to just make sure

Sarcasm - in my opinion NOT the lowest form of wit

but sarcasm does have it's place and it is better employed with those that know you well

I tend to naturally do it .. so if Ive been mailing someone for a while it just slips in naturally - I do have a disclaimer stating Im sarcastic on my profile

The problem with sarcasm is that it's often wasted on the terminally stupid!!

You need a like mind to get the best out of it - otherwise you're only ever really amusing yourself, which whilst good fun and preferable to what's perceived to be most modern 'TV comedy' - can end up extremely frustrating when you realise you're flogging a dead horse and having to explain yourself repeatedly.

Plus on occasion you realise that your exceptional talents in the dark art of sarcasm have just made you look like a total arsehole!

If only the was an option to search for those with a sense of humour!

I disagree. Sarcasm is evasive.

True it can hammer the truth home but it skirts around issues and demands that the recipient sees the real point being made.

Wheres the need when you understand what I mean.

So I am assuming then, whenever I am seeing you post in a sarcastic manner, you are not telling the truth. Thanks for the heads up.
