"It’s not just couples, single men and women are also guilty of this. It’s annoying, but it sounds like you’ve dodged a bullet " It was the suddenness that got me! We'd been chatting away happily then Wham, gone and blocked mid conversation. Maybe you're right about dodging that bullet!

"A fair few people have vanished on me mid-chat. Part of me thinks it's an internet thing. People seem to treat conversations online differently to in real life." It's very easy to forget there are actual flesh and blood humans at the end of their messages.

It wasn't getting awkward, the conversation was flowing freely from both sides. I think you're right about people forgetting they're talking to real humans- Which is strange when you think about the fact we're all here specifically TO connect with others ultimately

I'm not suggesting for one moment that this applies to the op though because I don't know the circumstances.

"Indecision. I do like a chat, but worry the more said, the less chance." You feel like people are just getting their kicks from the chat rather than wanting to take it further in person Ragnar?

" We've certainly changed our minds on others too, but never ended chats so abruptly/ blocked people without some kind of a word or two of acknowledgement first.

"OP - you are lucky that you are a couple and everyone is going to be nice to you in this thread. If you want to know what the forum really thinks then look for a thread from a single male asking the same question." My reply would be exactly the same regardless of who posed the question. People will always have a reason for blocking other people. You may not ever know or understand the reason so if it's not obvious to you there's little point troubling yourself with it

"Has anyone else fallen foul of couples being rude in totally the wrong sense of the word. We've been chatting to a couple on WhatsApp and telegram as well as here, sharing photos, voice notes and cheeky banter for ages, talking about sorting dates for a meet..... Then within 2 minutes we've been kicked out of groups and blocked on everything without a single word. No explanation, nothing. I get that we can't all be everyone's cup of tea... But they've seen more than enough photos of us over the weeks to have made their minds up and it takes 2 seconds to say 'sorry, maybe you're not for us after all'. Is it just me or am I expecting too much for manners not come into it on Fab? ![]() What is the connection to being kicked out of groups? Were there others involved in these conversations? Others who may have influenced them or formed different opinions?

Like why does a stranger blocking you even bother you, 🤦🏻♂️

Drop your ego a bit and the frustration will ease. What you perceive as bad manners may not be the same for them. They are 'Fuckers you have messaged' nothing more.
