I met up with 4 couples from here last week as we were all going to a club in Edinburgh. I met two couples for a drink before hand and two at the club.

I had a few verifications, one from a TV seems to have sparked some comments from people I chat to. I never realised some were so judgemental, biased, uninformed, etc.

Anyone else experience comments from a verification?

I have not showed mine from Day 1.

If a potential new meet is interested in seeing some veri's, I would unhide them and then re-hide them afterwards after he has seen them.

Usually, they do not ask to see them.

I had a someone i met have to remove my verification of them from their profile once because they got seriously hounded by a lady who i was not interested in meeting.

That was my first exposure to the whole side of that. It was also the first time i took a self imposed break from here for a few months.

Ive just had a veri from a tgirl, and my phone didnt stop going with calls and texts, and lots of msgs also on here, and the majority of them had checked my meet out as well.

What most of them didnt realise was that we were both also online on skype, and we had a field day winding a few of them up and taking the piss.

We hide our veris, as op has said if a potential meet wants to see them then fine, but when asked about how many/who, we just say we dont discuss as discretion and its none of thier buinesss x

I have had trouble from some of the black guys I have met from jealous girls......I was even accused of looking through a woman's verifications and doing her guys! Oh I once "stole" someone's "master" too... And when attending a party this woman was running around with a thong on and absolutely hammered with alcohol and trying it on with every guy there saying she hoped her ex master was happy fucking other women. Ms here. I encountered similar issues when I had a few meets with a TV. A guy I had played with a few times saw the veris and took umbrage and got a bit arsey. If I'd known he was so judgmental and homophobic I wouldn't have met him in the first place!

When I was meeting I would read veri's and the veri's of those that had veri'd

It help builds up a picture - sometimes fairly, sometimes maybe not so, but a picture anyway.

Now before I make the next comment, I will stress this was not on this site.

I had 2 other profiles at 1 point and was going to meet a guy off 1 of them.

Then by chance, I noticed his profile on the other site - which offered something similar to a veri system.

From that I saw that he was barebacking with people who were quite openly HIV positive.

It wasn't that he was doing it (his choice) but the fact that he had not even mentioned it in several PM's - thus not allowing me the option to make a more calculated decision to meet or not.

Had I not seen the other profile I could easily have met and whilst I wouldn't have BB'd anally, I would have had unprotected oral which despite it being a lower risk, is still a risk.

So yes, veri's and what they say and intimate can be very useful tools in deciding who to meet.
