Is there any truth in the rumour of having pampas grass in your garden advertises that you're a swinger? And if so do you use this method?

I used to swing on a neighbours pampas grass, until they caught me one night after the pub, ripped my ear half off running away and tripping, then they told my dad and I got a ton load of grief. Justifiably as I deserved it!!!!!!
