I get messages from all over the country.

Yes I would travel to meet you they say but would they really?

What’s the furthest you’ve travelled for a meet?

We have driven a few hours for a meet. We like to book a hotel room for us to freshen up before the meet, and also get some much needed sleep before driving home the next day.

I’d like to think I’d travel further, but I probably wouldn’t. Unless there was something real and worth building on. I’m too lazy.

Dubai & Nottingham

People I’ve met on here are good friends 4-5 years later and it wouldn’t have happened if I or they hadn’t took a chance & travelled.

I think treat each person individually rather than setting a time or distance limit

i've often driven a couple of hours (120 miles plus) a couple of hours is nothing these days.

i usually book myself a 29.99 deal travelodge nearby or just drive home in the early hours with no traffic.

ive done london to newport wales social a few times.

to me its no different to driving a couple of hours to an airport for holiday...plus i love driving.

North West

For a group social, London is probably the furthest.

I met a fab friend for a fun day out in Edinburgh (not sexy, just cocktails and chat).

The furthest for a hotel rendez-vous - I drove to Leicester and it took two and a half flipping hours on the hottest day of the year with no air con. 😅 They weren't from Leicester, it was just somewhere neither of us had been!

200 miles...

Slight caveat in that I was travelling for work anyway so arranged a meet whilst in the area.

Just for a genuine first meet then probably up to about 50 miles.

And further if there was a connection so likelihood of an overnighter.

5,000 miles...

And here i still am..

My longest regular is 43 miles one way I see him monthly

Best regular was only 4 miles away I saw him almost twice daily.

What I enjoy doing I need someone without commute or accomodation etc as an excuse.
