Question for ladies, RE mother nature

Dont wanna go into TMI or gory details, but have issues with time of the month....

So my question is, does anybody know a liquid to ease period pains, I think it was Indian something or other. Tastes rank, but worked wonders.

A friends mother used to give it me when I was a teenager and cant for the life of me remember its name.

I'd be grateful if anyone knows what I mean and let me know and where to buy it.

Thanks in advance

Miss PP

Looking at the NHS website it says 'you must take this medicine in warm water.'

I do wonder how many people drink this stuff in the bath
