Exactly a year today, I’m now 1 of those ‘over a year’ types! But I still feel like a nOOb!

How long before you felt ‘settled in’?

I kicked the door in, sat my arse down and made myself comfortable pretty early.

It's taken me three years but I've had personal and health issues so maybe the last few months to be fair

From joining sweetshop fab I found the forums 6 months later, it took me a month to stop trying to make friends and just be myself and the friends followed. I was a classic case of trying too hard, to please everyone on the forums. Never works

Never really. I'm not a swinger. I don't want to feel settled in. Can't explain why.

Finedon ,

I have been a member for about 14 years and have never really settled in Fab.

Now in my mid 80s and with various medical issues I do not think I will ever feel settled.

Somewhere in Hampshire

I've been here for the best part of 7 years and I wouldn't say I have ever felt particularly comfortable or at home. I have periods of greater and lesser confidence in using the site and meeting people, but that's probably true for most things I do in life.

Somewhere

I've been on/off for a decade now. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it, sometimes I literally just have nothing better to do
