I have on my mons pubis. A few 50p sized patches on my belly, I can only use aqueous cream as allergies to most ointments etc.

For the eczema owners, how do you deal with it?

Hey OP, sorry to hear this. I hope it doesn’t affect your confidence too much.

I don’t have eczema but do suffer with psoriasis (which bellend came up with the spelling for those?!). When I’m covered it really knocks me back. I’m also allergic to some steroid creams but I got referred through my GP for light treatment and it worked really well. Is that an option for eczema?

Don't know if you've tried this already, but I use Tacrolimus ointment (branded as Protopic). It's an immunosuppressant which helps calm down the overreaction of the immune system which can cause eczema flare-ups. It's not easy to use at first as it tends to cause extra itching at first, but that dies down after a few days. I use it together with moisturisers such as aqueous cream and Dermal. Hope this helps.

Try a brand called nala's. Its for children but I highly recommend it

Was just jumping on to recommend this too. I have psoriasis so use a lot of steroid based creams.

The nala’s baby body butter vanilla cloud is amazing, really moisturising and non greasy and smells amazing.

I developed psoriatic arthritis last year (after covid) which is a twat. Both painful joints and scabby patches. When the hospital diagnosed it they put me on methotrexate which is working quite well, has cleared up most of my skin though still a bit flaky under my hair. Hasn't totally fixed the arthritis, but it's manageable with ibuprofen to reduce the inflammation.

Side effect though is it dampens my immune system (that's how it works, psoriatic arthritis is an auto-immune condition) so I've got to do masking to avoid catching viruses... Okay in tesco, but means I can't really go down the sex clubs...
