To be fair, so many things. From simple things like coffee out, to a meal and holidays. I appreciate some is down to cost but plenty just pure greed. Who can blame them though if we just accept it and we go along. I put a thread on the other day about paying nearly 6 pounds for a tiny piece of cake. As I said, oure greed

Coffee and cakes from the main triad of coffee chains. 4.90 for a slice of cake, 1.80 for an espresso?

It’s not like it’s incredibly good coffee..

PC/computer versions of the same game are usually better than their console counterparts.

This wasn't the case 30+ years ago, when the consoles would get the boutique version, but Commodore 64/Amiga/Atari ST formats would get stiffed with a shoddy port made by US Gold or fucking Tiertex

Fish and chips in any local pub where I live also street food; it's more expensive than eating in a restaurant in London - how is served in a throw-away container and eaten on a scabby bench outside more expensive than eating in a place with crockery, cutlery, a clean table and chairs in a heated room and on site toilets in the nation capital?

Everything is way expensive but it's just pure greed in the UK. Been lucky to travel to Europe a few times this year and absolutely everything is sooo much cheaper.

In Sicily train travel was so cheap and efficient. Walked away with bags of shopping from the supermarket for less than 30eur

We're getting absolutely shafted on prices in this country
