"so what makes the perfect first message "

A face shot of someone better looking than Brad Pitt and "I know I am a multimillionaire with a 9 inch cock but I hope you will not discard me without giving me a try."

If you took everyone's idea of the perfect message, moulded it into one. All you'd have is some generic BS that in no way reflects you or your personality.

My humble opinion of course.

I know what you mean but then again "Fancy a fuck" works for me.

I think the best opening message is one tailored to the recipient with information gleaned from their profile.

I would be perfect if I wasn't so humble.

There is no such thing as an ideal first message or a perfect profile or pics. So many people seem to blame this for the lack of meets rather than accept rejection.

The best way is to really be yourself, if the recipient likes you they will reply and the conversation will just flow. If you had the greatest writer in the world craft that first message I still bet there would be the same amount of no replies etc.

well thats about 20% of us it would work for then, what about the other 80% that don't read profiles

"'hello' is a good start..... "

then on from there even a 'Perfect " message ( which there isn't one) would change all the time, depending on mood when being read , etc. The best thing is to be yourself and start with hello

I like messages that make me laugh, a bit of humour works well, pleasantness and good grammar too.
