Yes fully not really an opinion but fact,

If it had had happened then what ,

Yrs people died and people died at pearl harbour and many other places and time ,

It put an end to more deaths

So it was shit to say that the only way to avoid further massive loss of American lives in ending the war with Japan was by using Two Atom bombs?

I think the universal view was that it was the only way, given the fact that the Japanese would have never stopped hostilities based on their extreme nationalistic traits.

With that in mind....why was he talking shit?
