Are you going to a party? An organised event? Staying at home for a horror film marathon? What are your plans?

I think I'm gonna be lying in bed, unable to get up, whilst he and our daughter are at a kids party for Halloween.

Already watched The Wolf Man (1941) and have a load of will be putting on Halloween III (the one with the creepy toymaker) and giving the new 4K edition of the original Night On Elm Street a spin later.

With pizza and plenty of Halloween-themed beer involved, it should another fun one for the Missus and me.

It's the simple things in life...

Got my sprouts wrapped in Ferraro Roche foil. The old carotene and white wine vinegar filled water balloons. Lemons bobbing about in the water containers. It's going to be a right hoot for my trick or treaters.

I'm already transforming the front of the house into a spooky shop with skulls and tombstones and headless bride and coffins. Daughter and I will dress up and hand out sweets to trick or treaters.

Probably going to turn all of the lights off in the front of the house, then will relax in the hot tub with a man sized glass of wine

Child 1 is going to McDonald's. Child 2 is going trick or treating, which I don't approve of once the child is taller than his mum (this happened 2 years ago), and I'm staying home to man the front door with bowls of sweeties.

I'm having my groceries delivered.

High excitement in the house of scouse.

I might watch a bit of telly too, though I need to pace myself and not get too carried away.

The Wolf Man is very good, and the 2010 remake is a relatively rare example of a modern remake of one of those Universal horror films that is even better than the original.
