"Life can only be understood backwards, but must be lived forward. " Reminded of me Steve Jobs…. ‘You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.’

"Looking back are you overall happy? Looking forward what do you need to do find happiness or maintain it? Regardless of the persona you portray Looking back I am overall. There are things I may have done differently but I raised a family pretty much on my own and they still all talk to me! Going forward to realise I’m enough and not to compromise my feelings totally " It’s great that you’ve focused on what you’ve done and achieved no matter how small it’s a great way to think Overall yes I’m more truthful to myself and in a lot better happier place however i do feel quite low right now so know I need to sort it out

"Life can only be understood backwards, but must be lived forward. Being happy is about finding what you truly love doing and do that more than anything else. What makes you happy may change as you get older so it is important to adapt. But focus on the things that make you happy. As my ma used to say, no one lies in their death bed wishing they had worked harder. Life is for living. " This is spot on 🙂

There are things I may have done differently but I raised a family pretty much on my own and they still all talk to me! Going forward to realise I’m enough and not to compromise my feelings totally " my life, generally, has been a mess. A traumatic childhood meant i was a bit out of control but, although i would not say I was ever happy, I had found contentment. Recent events have spun things a bit and i find myself struggling mentally, but I know that I will find my path back. Contentment for me was quite sufficient
