Chemistry, passion, seduction, lust. Let's talk all of those delicious things.

Is it an instant thing or can it grow and develop over time?

If the fireworks don't happen under their gaze, kiss, touch, instantly does it mean it never will?

Helps if it’s there at the start.

Awkwardness makes things so much more difficult

Paradise, Herts

Must admit it’s usually an instant thing for me.

I usually know within 30 seconds of meeting someone if I want to meet them again.

It definitely gets better and better though. Which is why I like regular rather than one offs.

I think it depends on the circumstances.

It can grow over time with someone who is already in my life a lot….

But in the context of meeting someone on fab it has to be there instantly for me.

This, but takes me an hour or so, usually by the 2nd meet I know if I want to see them sexually or not

Not the North West...

On here I know pretty much instantly.

It happens very rarely though.

I’d be thinking I’d blown it on the first meet.

I know instantly if I'm very sexually attracted to someone. Sometimes the chemistry is palpable. I love it when that happens.⚡️

Hmm I think it’s either there or it’s not. I usually know within a few minutes if I fancy someone and I definitely know after I’ve kissed them if the chemistry is there. I don’t think you can create passion or chemistry over time but I do think it can be killed if the person turns out to be a knob.

In my experience it can grow the more I'm comfortable around them the more passion comes.

I'm a bit weird - got to caveat the following with that important information.

So I don't feel lust instantly for someone. Well, very rarely. I can count on one hand the times I have. Normally I need a base level of friendship of some kind first.

And I've been friends with people before and known they're attractive but then something clicks and I find myself attracted to them.

Lust/chemistry, all of that definitely grows the more I get to know someone. The real them. I like them. It's like... well I can fancy them a little bit and then I see who they are and just a message or a certain look ignites that desire.

If the kissing isn't compatible, if that chemistry isn't there - it doesn't change for me sadly. Sometimes it's just not there. I've also noticed that some people smell like a damp goat, you know, under all the lotions and potions. And that's because their natural scent doesn't do it for me .

Sometimes it can be instant. Electrifying. That's when I get a bit flustered and oh gosh and worry I'm going to fuck it up because I'm very chalant. So fucking chalant.

It can definitely grow. For me a lot of chemistry is about connection. It definitely grows if the sex is really good too.

North East Scotland, mostly

It can definitely increase in intensity over time, as you get to know each other more. For me, if it’s not there at the outset it’s unlikely to develop later. But on one memorable fab occasion it was like an instantaneous electric shock 🔥

If there is at least something there at the beginning then yes it can grow. But if there's nothing I bin it off. Better for both of us.

I've been lucky enough to experience electrifying chemistry with others. Most often starting as a friendship and building over time. I have experienced almost instant chemistry, sadly that fizzled almost as quickly as it began

I think that's the thing, when you've experienced that undeniable chemistry, then it almost ruins you for everyone else. Constantly hoping for something that isn't always there.

Let’s be honest. The vast majority on here have decided in the first millionth of a nanosecond of seeing that all important face pic if they want to even extend you the courtesy of any further correspondence.

I know instantly if sexually attracted but that on its own is not enough they also need to be roughly on the same page but again that can be picked up fairly quickly..

if im not sexually attracted thats nots going to change over time there has to be sexual attraction or its just never going to happen no matter how nice the person is otherwise

100% agree with this…. I have experienced that type of connection twice and I am yet to find it in anyone else. Is it just that the connection with that person/people was exceptional or should we always hold out for the magical spark?

Met people afterwards and that sinking feeling in comparison 🤷‍♂️
