Hair products - what do you use ?

I gravitate to ginger and sea salt shampoo.

Sometimes I'll do a coconut oil scalp massage before I wash it. Or rosemary oil . That works well too.

For inclusiveness ( is that word?..) If you don't have any hair or shave your head, what's your routine also?

I've got a set one yet, which i should.

Whichever makes my hair silky smooth and shiny.

I'm very clueless to products sadly.

Rituals shampoo for my hair. I generally don’t condition my hair as it’s not the type that requires it.

Hair bond toffee works best for styling my hair. So I’ve been using that for years.

Sulphate, non silicone shampoo. Mostly protein conditioner. I aboid shampoos with shea or coconut or oils as theh are too heavy for my fine hair but i use Coconut oil overnight every couple of months or if my scalp feels dry.

Never washed my hair. I just keep getting it cut so the dirtiest bits end up on the hairdresser’s floor.

I use Buclemé products for the most part.

Often wash my hair with Rye flour and rinse it with apple cider vinegar.

Mines a curly mop and it feels like looking after a particularly fussy plant sometimes

Elvive shampoo and hair treatment. Mythic oil on wet hair before I dry it and on dry hair as a serum. Sadly Mythic Oil seems to have been discontinued

Perimenopause is playing havoc with my hair, and my old tried and tested stalwarts now leave my hair like straw. I've been trying different products for over three years now that claim to help with thinning hair, but they don't suit my curls, so I don't currently have any 'go to' products... Just despair, and hair that looks like a birds nest most days.

Not yet... I'll get some in for the next experimental phase! Thank you.

Manchester (she/her)

Sulphate shampoo, Garnier hair foods conditioner. Grapeseed oil and leave in (usually Cantu, once in awhile Shea moisture) when I don't style it, plus cool diffuse after plopping. When I am styling it, less/no oil and leave in, VO5 hair gel (think turn of the century frosted tips gel - it even stinks a bit like teenage boy) plus plopping, cool diffuse, and a little grapeseed oil if it's too crunchy on the other side.

Recommended by my hairdresser for the reasons you mentioned.

I use a tressememe 2 in 1 cleanse and replenish, as I've got really thick unruly hair.

I also have a dry scalp, so I sometimes use coconut oil on it and I have a scalp massage thing to exfoliate it.

Tonypandy.

Whatever I grab. Random shampoo, shower gel, soap, bubble bath.

It's very short, so doesn't really matter. Some sort of matte paste to style

I use the ogx coconut curls shampoo and conditioner, the only one I've found that's really moisturising for my thick naturally wavy hair.

I put the Shea moisture leave in into my hair this morning and am regretting my choices

It's really nourishing but super heavy. Not really for my hair type (but I love it on occasion)

I shave my head, so I have very little hair there, but I do love the smell of Vosene. It's a smell I remember from my childhood.
